The Bargfrosh Boy was inspired by a real 4 year old boy. In his first two years, that real little boy couldn’t speak. One woman changed all that. Mel Potock, of My Munch Bug is an award winning and renowned Feeding specialist as well as Speech and Language Pathologist and who step by step helped the boy develop language. It is because of her dedicated work with him that he not only developed speech and language but now manipulates language!
Here is what Mel shared on her Facebook fan page "The Bargfrosh Boy was inspired by a little boy I had the joy of playing with as an SLP. His fantastic imagination at such a young age is illustrated in this charming book. If your child loves Where the Wild Things Are or Going on a Bear Hunt, the enchanting rhyme and unique vocabulary will soon make this book a family favorite." ~Mel Potock of My Munch Bug
